Becoming Swiss race car Champion and winning the LO Formula Renault 2.0 in 2009, the young Swiss took a big step going into the 2010 season. He took part in the GP3-Series which is just two steps away from his goal (Formula One) and takes place in its supporting programme. Nico surprised everybody by finishing 3rd in the final standings (best European driver), being one of the youngest and least experienced drivers in the field. He confirmed this great result in 2011 by finishing 4th and a great fight back after a difficult start to the season. All of this is the result of a motivated, talented young driver who is supported and trusted by many sponsors and benefactors. Thanks to all of them, the journey towards Formula One keeps on going.
